Help for HPD Officer Troy McDermed
Last summer, Henderson, NV Police Officer Troy McDermed collapsed while on a traffic stop and was taken to Henderson Hospital where he underwent testing to determine what occurred. Several days later, Officer McDermed was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine carcinoma. His cancer is inoperable and incurable, and after 15 years of service to the City of Henderson, he will be medically retiring. Officer McDermed will be auctioning off some of his prized possessions to help with the cost of his cancer treatments, and it would be a tremendous boost to the auction if we could also help with fundraising efforts!
Officer McDermed has faced tremendous obstacles since his cancer diagnosis, and has many expenses related to his medical care. Your help with donations to assist Officer McDermed and his wife ease some of the financial worries associated with his care would be amazing. Anything helps, thank you!
